FRAGARANCE: Balenciaga L'eau Rose

▀▀▀▀ BALENCIAGA PARIS L'eau Rose 
DISPATCH from IRIS: this scent is fruity and floral but not annoyingly sweet. i originally wanted a mens' fragarance (i still want ysl l'homme libre!) but i was in love with this feminine scent after the first spray. the bottle made me want it more, because lbr i would buy a perfume just because of the bottle design. 

it fades with warmth and lasts long on clothes, but isn't overpowering at all. like some days i want to spray the whole bottle so i can smell like a god.

STUDY 3: The Black Dress

Inspiration for the warmth. Same, and different. It's always a little challenge to actually give up thicker fabrics and longer lengths once Spring rolls around, but this Pre-Fall 2008 collection of black dresses from Balenciaga convinces us we're ready. They seem easy and special, repetitively unboring.

Box Tops for Balenciaga

Let's suspend belief for two seconds and just pretend that we actually have a slight chance of getting our grips onto these shoes. So good.
