Thank You & Leather Palms

________________

Happy Thanksgiving to all you American fashion plates! We're risking cheesiness, but we wanted to thank all of you who read our blog! It's great getting to know you through comments or twitter @replies. Hopefully you're having a great day, even if you read this two days late (holiday and sales!). Seriously let us know how your Black Friday went in the comments after you go shopping, we'd love to read some stories.
Speaking of shopping stories, here's a little recap on our Versace for H&M experience. We made the mistake of getting to the line a little too close to opening time, but in actuality there weren't that many people there. However, those who were bought bags and bags of stuff, leaving us with nothing to really buy. From that moment on, it was as if everything was a sign from the heavens. (Signs from the heavens mean you must take advantage of anything you get your hands on, and buy it—or trade it for something you want.) Grabbing the last black coat on the rack was almost a holy experience, considering the entire men's collection was wiped out by the time we got in the store. Crazy.
Some group of people had the brilliant idea of getting pieces from the fitting room and holding on to them until they left the store. Luckily, we got to grab the palm tree skirt from them when they came to the waiting line to pass out the pieces they didn't buy. Considering that a sign from the heavens, obviously.
P.S. Daniel here. Suffering from pink-suit-sadness. Didn't even get to see it through a window, so if anyone wants to cure my pain and return one to the San Diego Fashion Valley H&M, I'd love that. hahaha.

  3. I totally love the bizarre effects. Can you please tell me how to do a 3D effect with red/blue? I was a photoshop nerd in primary school but still haven't figured THAT out...hm, worthless. Love choker + jumper on Iris & I would wear the same outfit als Daniel, haha.

  4. @JBriggs: Thanks! Most people were saying it was really tacky, but the pieces by themselves are really wearable.. even though we do love some of the obnoxious full-pattern pieces. Hahaha

@Kat: Haha, thank you! Would have loved that pink suit too. Happy Thanksgiving. :)

@Yth: Hey! Thank you. :) Just go to the Channels tab in the Layers table, then click the Red channel and change it (move, distort, blur, whatever you want). Hope this helps!

  7. I think I read too many fashion blogs, because I found the collection to be totally awesome and actually it was the tackiness that I liked :D oh the 'in yo face' prints and colours..
    You guys look great!
I got the same skirt as well. I did not even know that it had crocodile print on the back, until after i ordered it. It made the skirt that much more appealing.
