FALL 2011 | Jason Wu

12.2.11

Isn't it nice to know what you might be wearing six months from now before you really know what you're wearing next Monday? Fashion is like time travel sometimes. Anyways, we checked out some of the Fall 2011 shows and loved Jason Wu (← click to see the full show). Staying true to his feminine and chic look, the mirrored runway was lined with models sporting, well, American sportswear mixed with baroque accents of lace and luxe fabrics. The look is extremely relevant because it combines the wear-ability of sportswear separates and brings it up to high brow levels of cool, giving the minimal starting point a kick of excitement. The accessories were sleek and modern, keeping up with the Celine-esque life of fashion right now and giving the perfect accent to the more frilly styles of the looks. The Maison Michel lace masks mimicked the lace on casual sweaters, floaty tops, and evening-appropriate skirts. Truly a beautiful showing for Fall 2011.

We'll be updating the blog soon with our inspirations for Spring 2011. Also, hi new followers! Thanks for enjoying our blog.

  2. I think Jason Wu might be my new favorite of all favorites. I would wear that dress in the center....in a HEARTBEAT. It's one of the most perfect/wearable designs I've seen on the runway! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

  3. I love the polka dot stockings, the lace and the modern albeit romantic sensibilities here. You're right, all of a sudden I'm thinking about my upcoming fall wardrobe..
