Clothes as protection. Clothes as restriction. This boxy arm sling is a recurring motif in the Fall/Winter 2013 shows. A graphic square pasted onto the body, forcing geometry through a neoprene clutch or waistband emphasis. I want one.

OTHER THOUGHTS: knots, elongated sleeves, asymmetrical skirts

    I loved JW Anderson the moment I saw the runway images. Celine is looking pretty amazing too, with those boxy shaped coats and powder pink hues. x

    Reminded me straight away of MMM as well. The whole imposition of geometric shapes on human forms idea is so tantalisingly futuristic, and of course your presentation is perfect as ususal.
