NYTIMES vs. YSL | Heated debate between fashion critic Cathy Horyn and designer Hedi Slimane. It all seems a bit harsh, immature, and unprofessional on both sides. Still, we can't help but love the shady words being thrown from both sides. Our favorite from Hedi: "in conclusion, and as far as i’m concerned, she will never get a seat at saint laurent, but might get 2 for 1 at dior. she should rejoice." DEAD.
Business of Fashion did a great article outlining the confusing PR messages surrounding Saint Laurent under new designer. The Californian-Milanese 1970s rock-chick vision of the house was stuck in the past, a disconnect with all of the slick and cool new imagery previously presented. Seems like that's not the only mismatch. What's your take?

Woah! I think the gif just drove me crazy... I kept watching the scene replay, anticipating: Does she catch it? Does she catch it? And after staring at the screen and watching the scene replay about 10 times, I then realised: Oh, it's a gif.
